Ink_d Gallery and Studio proudly present young, vibrant artist Lidia de Pedro’s first solo show. The show called The Best Man & Company includes all new work with engaging titles such as Flower Power, My Sweetie, The Blood Sucker, The Eating Machine and Give Me Poison Today I Want to Die. Lidia who hails from Spain was discovered by the gallery when she was working for a local graphic design company in Brighton. Her flamboyant and colourful compositions have proved popular with her series of prints based on her family.
She is a natural born traveller and loves to move to new cities and indulge in all the cultural differences and fun she encounters. She has a passion for creating powerful, thought provoking images, trying new techniques and experimenting with materials.
Also showing is Brighton based artist IMBUE presenting his first solo show 'A World Gone Mad'; an exhibition highlighting controversial issues surrounding everything that is wrong with modern society but with a good dose of humour .
The show will feature an installation, 3-D work, original canvases, paste up work, hand finished screenprints and a film.
