As you may know, last month saw us take the ink_d show on the road for our annual involvement in the cornucopia of artistic expression that is the London Art Fair. Over the course of the week we welcomed many new visitors to our stand as well as having a few familiar faces pop by to check out our wares.
We’d like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who came and had a good nose around the ink_d walls. The atmosphere was positively buzzing all week and it was great to see such a hugely positive reaction to our thoughtfully considered collection of artwork. If you picked something up from us we’d love to see it in its new home, so please feel free to tag us in any photos that make it onto the web. Whilst we always love it up in the big smoke, meeting people and sharing the talent of the artist we work with, it’s good to be back home by the sea, ready to rock the south coast.
If for whatever reason you didn’t make it along to the fair you can curb your feelings of fomo (fear of missing out) with our latest show ‘Back with a Bang’, which will be running for the next two months. Technically it’s a two-parter with the first half of the show solely featuring 2D works, so be prepared for some sumptuous paintings from the likes of Jake Wood Evans, Enzo Marra, Tom French and Sarah Shaw amongst others. Whilst from 14thMarch, post rehang, the gallery will be transformed once again, this time with a selection of purely three-dimensional works. A number of multidisciplinary artists such as Hove based Matt Smith will feature in both halves of the show, so it’ll provide a great opportunity to see how their ideas translate into different mediums with fascinating outcomes.
We’ve already had the pleasure of welcoming the Godfather of Street Art Ron English into gallery to view ‘Back with a Bang’, so you’d be as mad as one of his paintings not to come on down for a peek... See you soon people!
